  1. To install on UNIX, extract the tar archive:

  3.     tar -xvf BRIK.TAR
  4.  
  5. Then cd to the "brik" directory, select and possibly edit
  6. an appropriate Makefile, and you should be able to just type
  7. "make" to build an executable.  I.E.
  8.  
  9.     make -f Makefile.nix
  10.  
  11. To install, just copy the brik executable to an appropriate
  12. location that is in your search path, like /usr/local/bin.
